Jones. 8vo, de Maisse was Ambassador Extraordinary from Henry IV of France to Queen Elizabeth, who on their first meeting, was 60 years of age. He was charged with discovering whether the Queen was willing to join in the peace negotiations with Spain. Partly unopened.
