Bound in a teal cloth blind stamped on the front panel with a rather bright pink writing on the spine. Colour illustrated dust jacket. The book and dust jacket shows no signs of damage. This book is the first major study of majolica, with some 200 examples of prime majolica pieces, more than half shown in full colour. Majolica's history starts with the Crystal Palace in 1851, and covers both sides of the Atlantic, as well as some of the continental manufacturers.
