A plan to manage and conserve the Barun valley, one of seven valleys radiating from Mount Makalu in the Eastern Himalayas, the world's fifth highest peak. The valleys, particularly the Barun valley, contain some of the last remaining pristine forests and Alpine meadows of Nepal.
