New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1986. Stated first edition, first printing, inscribed by the author to a family member and signed (scrawled) Richard. A history of important actors/actresses by a well regarded military biographer and historian. Illustrated with black and white plates from photographs. White hardcover with black cloth spine, illustrated dustjacket. The book has a puppy chew at upper corner of front cover, good hinges, sound text block, transparent staining to top inside margins of endpapers and some very faint transparent stains to the last few pages, pages otherwise clean and unmarked. The mylar protected dustjacket is priceclipped and has a chip to the upper right corner of the front panel, light rubbing.. Inscribed by The Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
