London: Ernest Benn, Limited, 1925. 1st. hb. Red cloth, gilt lettering on spine, 8vo., 231pp. Frontis map of Italy in 1810. No marks in book, binding tight. Covers show very minor edge wear, gilt lettering bright, fore edge of text block shows slight foxing. In clean dust jacket with minor chipping, tape reinforced corners and top and bottom of spine. Early work on the formation of the modern Italian state, covering the years from 1815 to 1918. Book condition VG in VG- DJ.
