Thomas Hailes Lacy. London. 1868. Thomas Hailes Lacy. 1868. First edition. 4to. ONLY Three volumes out of four. Many plates loose and some missing. Vol. 1: Plates 1-102, lacks plates 30. 44 & 50. Vol. 2: plates 103-200, plate 155 damaged, lacks plates 169-174 and 181-186 all are uncoloured; BUT WITH extra plates of 111, 112, 117, 118 and 120, eight of these extra plates are hand-coloured. FEMALE COSTUMES. Plates 100-200: lacks plates 169-174, 181-186 and 189 all uncoloured but has 2 extra French hand-coloured plates and 2 other extra plates, uncoloured. Half brown calf, marbled boards, all very worn and rubbed. Some plates creased or chipped along edges with occ. foxing. The second two volumes are generally clean and tight.
