The splendor of the Swiss Alps is not just evoked, it is merged by the photographer with his subject, Man and Nature as One. Bandi was in love with his native Switzerland as much as with Bob. Almost all of the images are full-frontal nudes, which make them ahead of their time (and in some respects, ours) in their uninhibited celebration of the male body. For why not?
