About This Item
Guelph, Ont: World Publishing Co, 1882. 1st edition. Hardcover. folding maps, b&w illustrs.. xxii, 687 pp. Royal 8vo. Bound in original illustrated brown cloth over bevelled boards. Extremities lightly rubbed. The hinges are a bit weak but holding nicely. Contents very slightly age-toned, but otherwise unmarked. A very good copy overall. Note: this is the original book, in its original binding. It is not an ex-library copy, and it is most certainly not either a print upon demand concoction or an e-book. It is the real thing, over 120 years old. The large folding maps of Canada, Manitoba & the Territories, & of the City of Winnipeg, have been repaired by the prior owner.
