Liverpool: Liverpool University Press, 1914. 2nd edition. Hardback. Original black cloth with gold lettering to spine; front board decorated with a gold image of a Viking longship. Octavo. 150 pages. 70 b&w illustrations within the text. Good. Boards a bit worn at the corners and spine ends. Several small bumps along the spine. Front board has some rubbing around the decoration. Text rather tanned at the edges; top edge very dull; small foxed patch to the fore-edge. Endpapers also a little foxed.
