Green cloth boards, stamped in colors, titled in yellow on spine and front cover; dustjacket; 297pp. General mild wear, with some toning to endpapers; Very Good. In the original, priced dustwrapper ($2.00 net), toned and a bit weak at spine folds (but without restoration); dime-sized scuff to base of spine panel, about VG.

A flapper-era melodrama involving the daughter of an aristocratic family who is kidnapped in infancy and raised in squalor on New York's lower east side. Though not praised by critics, Mannequin received the 1926 Liberty Prize for best work of fiction. HANNA 1856.
