New York: Common Council, 1864. Hardcover. 12mo; Fair/no DJ; Hardcover w/out DJ, rebound; Spine black with gold print; Boards in black cloth, slight wear to spine caps, mild surface tear to spine, slight shelfwear; Text block has tanning endpapers, cracked front hinge, some age-toning to paper, slight amount of foxing, a check against The Society of Iconophiles "Index" (1906) revealed that about half of the numerous illustrations, some on folded plates, (maps, chromolithographs, engravings, facsimiles, etc.) are missing, also some pages are missing, e.g. 669-672, 753-754, tattering to map frontispiece, seeming water stains to some plates; Spine title: Manual of the Common Council, City of New York, 1864; xiv, 856 pages, illustrated (some color).
NOTE: Shelved in Room X, atop one of the bookcases. 1317622. FP New Rockville Stock.
