About This Item

From the Foreword: " The author of this book has a comprehensive and expert knowledge of lace technique, and she has dealt with the subject in an exhaustive and thoroughly practical manner. The methods of working, the clear and straightforward descriptions given in systematic progressive states, and the large number of diagrams, should prove extremely useful to all lace workers."

Dark blue cloth covers with gold gilt lettering on spine. As a "dust jacket" this book has a somewhat thick vinyl cover with "Maidment Bobbin Lace Work" printed in red on the front. Monochrome images and illustrations.

Book: Fine condition. Very clean and tight. Lots of illustrations.
Vinyl Dust Jacket: Very Good condition. Slight rubbing/bumping that does not affect the red lettering on the front. The back bottom corner has a small tear and the flap part has a 1" split at the bottom (seam) edge.
