Fawcett (26 August 1833 6 November 1884) was a blind British academic, statesman and economist. In 1863 he published his 'Manual of Political Economy' and became Professor of Political Economy at Cambridge. Second edition. In a full cloth binding. Externally, sound with some small marks and minor wear to extremities. Front hinge is strained. Internally, generally firmly bound. pages are bright and clean with just the occasional handling mark. Bookseller's blindstamp to front free endpaper. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
