Green cloth with dark green plant decorations and white lettering and border. The white is faded and there is some soiling on the covers. The binding is tight and square. Bookseller label inside front cover (W.B. Clarke Co., Boston). 298 pages with Index plus several pages of suggested books from the publisher on agricultural subjects. Illustrated with drawings and photographs. Divided into two parts, Part I is covers soils, fertilizers, and crops, while Part II deals with animal husbandry..
