Gilbert. with his seat numbered 117 on the fold-out seating chart entitled "Diagam of the Assembly Chamber 1852" - 9 3/4" wide x 7 1/2" tall at the front. Dentelled board edges. Gilded page edges. Marbled endpages 448 pages. Filled with useful facts and information. Much on canals. Other topics include Agrcultural Society, Assembly, Banks. Census, School Funds, Congressional Districts, Constitution, Counties and Towns, extracts from statutes, statistical information etc. A yearly publication which started in 1840. Tightly bound. "E. Gilbert" centered and stamped in gilt on front cover. Leather is in very good condition with a small chip at top of spine. Very good..
