Walton, NY: Walton Reporter, 1901. This antique Walton, (N.Y.) school manual has a light brown heavy paper cover with black lettering on front, no spine letters. Illust. w/some black-and-white photos of the school and the pupils. Catalogue details the school's annual schedule and other information about academics, athletics, etc., as well as a complete list of students who are enrolled for that school year, information about the reunion which was held in the summer of 1901, and a great deal of other info. This is a great historic document filled with intriguing information--teachers were required to "inculcate lessons of truth, purity, justice, honor, humanity, courage, politeness, temperance and patriotism" in their pupils! 34 pages; approx. 6" x 9". Book is in fair condition with edgewear, soil, foxing, wear, and stains.. Soft Cover. Fair/No Jacket. Illus. by Illustrated.
