About This Item
United States: The Narcisses Club, 1930. Very good. Minor toning, spotting, one or two nicks to edges.. What appears to be a tongue-in-cheek fictional speech given at a meeting of "The Narcisses Club" in which one of the governing members relates faux news to the others: "We are going to have an entertainment as well as a social ... Miss Bundy will render a solo (this is if her cold will permit her) but I know she will sing any way in spite of her cold as she is very conceited over her voice (You must not tell her I say this) but she thinks she can sing better than Ellen Beacher Yaw" (Yaw was a popular soprano from 1908 until her death in 1947).
Eight (8) leaves of 8" by 5" lined notebook paper fastened together at head with decorative blue and cream lace ribbon. A cathartic writing on thoughts we often don't speak.
