About This Item

1948. No Binding. Good. An original manuscript for an article submitted to Biotechnic and Histochemistry for publication in 1948 of 'The Staining of Radulae'. The manuscript which is in the hand of the biologist and taxonomist Bernard Verdcourt runs to six foolscap pages and has a few corrections although this appears to be a fair copy intended for the typist - Verdcourt instructs his typist to use double spacing and provide two copies. There is a tear to the first page but otherwise the manuscript is in good condition. This forms part of a large collection of natural historical and geological pamphlets recently acquired by Modernfirsteditions. Good 1948
