Hodder and Stoughton, 1897. Hardback. Good. Third edition hardback, 1897, with no jacket as issued. In overall good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - bevel-edged boards rubbed to edges and spine faded. Internally clean. Binding tight; no annotations or inscriptions; tanning to rough-trimmed page-ends but text bright and clear throughout. Frontispiece portrait retains its tissue-paper guard. Not an old library book.
