About This Item
Toronto: Tundra Books, 2004. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. This is a first printing of the first edition, with a complete number line. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing no marks or wear. The illustrated covers are bright, with just a hint of corner wear. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and is also in Near Fine condition, with no rips or damage. Unusually, the verso of the jacket is also illustrated with what looks like a poster for the book. A very nice copy. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: A picture-book version of "Maria Chapdelaine." Louis Hemon's story has been re-told for children, and lavishly illustrated in colour by Kupesic.
Synopsis
