Second half has a translation of the 1199 stanzas into English, Italian and French. At very back is a vocabulary dictionary and Bibliography by Felix Coluccio. Front and back board are actual lacquered mahogany wood boards 3/16" thick. Folio 12 1/2" tall x 9 1/4". Leather spine stamped in gilt. Pictorial label on front board. Classic epic poem describes the gaucho in Argentina in mid 19th century. Gift inscription in Spanish dated 1972 on flyleaf otherwise clean and like new. Tightly bound. Very good. .
