Original Embossed Green Cloth, Spine Lettered And Ruled In Gilt. Original Yellow Endpapers. Cloth Clean, Some Wear, Professional Repairs To Edges. Small "Ida" In Ink At Top Of Title, Later Inscription Dated 1941 On Recto Of Frontispiece. The"Advertisement" Page From The Publisher, Dated May 1948, States That This Is The First Edition To Identify Morier As The Author. Scarce, Apparently Only 4 Institutional Copies Recorded In Worldcat.
