Beautiful maroon cloth over boards with gilt particulars and publisher's emblem to spine; debossed publisher's emblem in rule to front board. Light scattered foxing to margins of last few pages; otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked. Top edge of text block is moderately foxed while fore edge and lower edge are lightly foxed. Rear endpapers lightly foxed. Boards are clean and bright; white markings to lower edge; corners bumped. Binding is tight, spine is slightly cocked. Dust jacket has light scattered foxing with light creasing to extremities.
