About This Item

New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1970. Quarto, 555, liv pages. FIRST EDITION, first printing of the second volume of Julia Child's classic work, published nine years after the first volume. For this second work, Julia was joined by Simone Beck only. The book is in very good condition, in original publisher's cloth. The dust jacket has some age-toning to the spine and rear panel as well, red-titling to spine now faded, and a bit of light chipping at the head and foot of spine, but still near very good.
