About This Item
N.Y.: Thomas Y. Crowell & Co., 1900. Hardcover. Very Good. No date of publication, assumed around 1900. Octavo format in red cloth with gilt titles, top-edge gilt, frontis port. of author, pp. 273. Very Good condition with firm binding, untorn text, bright front and rear cloth, though spine is quite faded, though still legible. Some wear to extremities as expected for age, but only minimal loss at spine-ends and tips. Some minor spotting to the text in places, but not bad. Quite a respectable copy overall of this popular 19th century publication.
