Another in this series of stories collected by Kaye with DJ illustrations by the late, great, Edward Gorey. Collection of 53 stories, some adapted or translated or written by Kaye, from notable names in literature (R. L. Stevenson, Shelley, Tennyson, Turgenev), sci-fi (Sturgeon, Matheson), mystery (Runyon, Carr), & horror (Bloch, Stoker, Aickman, Bierce). 623 pages. Condition is also Near Fine, marred only by very mild rubbing to all corners; beautifully protected in mylar cover which has a nearly invisible light crease parallel to fore edge on front.
