Pencil sketch of tools by Robert Seaman and inscription by Carmichael to original purchaser on title page, rest of text block tight and unmarked. Half bound brown leather and marbled paper clamshell box with gilt titles to spine and a leather pull tab containing a 5cm section of a Garrison bamboo fly rod, upper right corner splitting.
