Seeks to illuminate 5 years of Arnold's life, in his youth, that hadn't been fully explored by previous biographers. Kingsmill argues that Arnold's experiences with romance and travel in that period had a great effect on his poetry. Book Condition : Good, Ex-Seminary Library; no text marks; rubber stamp inside front cover and on title page; catalog labels on bottom spine and top right rear cover; light toning to end papers. Dust Jacket removed and parts glued onto inside front cover and free end papers. .
