New York: Cupples and Leon Co.. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1932. First Edition. Hardcover. First Edition hardcover. Second in series of Maxie stories. 200 pages plus 10 pages of childrens' series ads in back. Nicely illustrated end papers, front end pages has previous owner's names and is dated . Only illustration I see is frontispiece which has pulled free of the binding, but no other pages are missing or loose and binding is tight. Text is clean, and straight, save lightly pencilled price. Back hinge starting to loosen. Minimal shelfwear and soiling to covers. ; 7.60 x 5.10 x 1.25 inches; 200 pages .
