Hardcover. 16mo (6.5" x 4.75"), original full pebbled maroon morocco in wallet style, with flap and tongue, gilt spine title, a.e.g. xxv, pp. 21-936, pocket in lower cover, ownership stamp in ink on flyleaf. A reference work on "Physical Laws" including mechanics, mathematics, weights and measures, naval architecture, railroads, hydrodynamics and much more. CONDITION: Good, wear at extremities, 4 cm tear with some separation at head of upper cover spine gutter, 1.5 cm tear at foot of upper cover spine gutter, folding flap spine with 6 cm open tear at head, tongue and flap intact, binding intact, lightly toned but clean text.
