BILINGUAL EDITION LATIN-ENGLISH. 342 pages, of which 58 are Biographical Notes on the authors; index of authors and mss., index of first lines for each language. Revised edition of anthology first published 1929, being a companion to Waddell's The Wandering Scholars. Includes her Preface to the first edition with a one-page postscript on this second. Latin originals and English translations of poems on facing pages. 12mo (5" x 7-1/2"), light blue cloth sunned to brown on spine and board margins, lettering on spine very faded, moderate shelf wear, edges and end papers age-toned with a bit of foxing, production error makes p. 191-94 protrude by ~half a mm. Name of former owner written on ffep with date 1949, sticker from the Mandrake Book Store (Cambridge, MA) affixed to same. Pages unmarked.
