New York: Farrar & Rinehart, 1940. Worn first edition, first printing [1940], with personalized inscription signed by the author on the front free endpaper. Maroon cloth, color illustrated dustjacket. Edges rubbed, good hinges, sound text block, age-darkened endpapers, pages slightly age-yellowed with some occasional light foxing, otherwise clean and unmarked. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some shelf soil and spotting, faded spine, plus chips, mainly to spine ends.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
