Octavo, [6], 464 pp. Fair; bound in contemporary faded green paper, rebacked with white paper with black titling on spine, areas of discoloration to covers and wear to corners; binding tight; text block rough and uneven; foxing to pages throughout; some marginal notes in blue pencil; MF consignment. Articles of note:
"An Original Anti-Vaccinator on the recent Discovery of Dr. Jenner" - an anonymous letter decrying Dr. Jenner's confession that the inoculation of his son had not been successful. Reference made to the Anti-Vaccinists.
"Report to the Committee Appointed to Examine the Physicians who have Attended His Majesty, During His Illness, Touching the State of His Majesty's Health" - transcripts of testimonies from physicians who had been caring for King George III in 1788 and 1810. 1359776. Special Collections.
