Review copy, with laid-in publisher's slip and wrap-around promotional band. Moderate shelwear to board bottoms and spine ends, light toning to textblock edges, some off-setting to front end papers. Jacket lightly worn with a 1.5" closed split at top of rear flap hinge, a few other very small closed tears, and some soiling/rubbing to rear panel. A very good (+) copy in like jacket of Spark's third novel, with the seldom encountered promotional wrap-around band featuring praise from Graham Greene. Jacket design by Catherine Smolich.

Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.

We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
