London: Printed by J. Hughs... for R. and J. Dodsley, 1759.. Second edition, 8vo, 236, (4 index) pp. Frontispiece, with a later manuscript genealogy bound in near the end. Modern maroon half morocco, marbled sides, a lovely copy. Carey was member of Elizabeth I's court and subsequently governor to the young Charles I.
