Inscribed and SIGNED BY AUTHOR on first free blank end paper "To H E Bryan Esq. with the compliments of Robert Dollar January 1925."

Robert Dollar (1844-1932 was a shipping magnate and founder and president of Dollar Steamship Co., Engaged in trade, esp, in Orient; introduced rought-the-world passenger service with line of "President" steamers (1924). A remarkably well-preserved copy of a vanity autobiography by a true captain of industry.
