Reprint (Second reprint of third edition). Contains eleven stories—Silver Blaze; The Yellow Face; The Stockbroker's Clerk; The "Gloria Scott"; The Musgrave Ritual; The Reigate Squires; The Crooked Man; The Resident Patent; The Greek Interpreter; The Naval Treaty; and The Final Problem. No illustrations. Publishers blue cloth boards with black 'tree' decoration to front and spine, black titles to spine. Binding very slightly loose. Boards lightly marked and with light rubbing to corners and spine ends. Pages heavily tanned throughout and with some marks. Top corner of page 177 missing where pages cut to open but does not affect text. Previous owners name and date 1918 to front endpaper. Not ex-library. 248 pp plus 4 page publishers catalogue at back. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked.
