About This Item

Washington: U.S. Congress, House of Representatives, 1830. First Edition . Unbound. Near Fine. The first item is a small format broadside, approximately 6" x 9.5", detailing a request by the citizens of Miami County, Ohio to form a colony for Indians in the Western United States and remove the Indians with their consent. The second item is the same size, but printed on both sides of the sheet. Both items are in near fine condition with light edgewear, but the second also has a crease at the lower left side. Neither have ever been bound. Uncommon items relating to the Miami Indians and their relations with the settler's in their area.
