Very Good with no dust jacket. 1892-1893. First Edition. Green cloth. V1: 605pp, v2: 633pp, v3: 664pp, v4: 648pp. In green cloth with paper labels, labels show some fading and rubbing, otherwise VG+ throughout. Text is clean and firm. Liberally loaded with drawings and full page pictures of dignitaries. Occasional light grey speckling to backs of a few portraits mainly towards the edgealthough most are clean and all are clean on the front. A comprehensive and in depth history running up to 1893. Volume I has tape repair to front page insertion point and a few others where page edges were separated from each other. .
