About This Item
Grove Press, 1983. First edition, first printing. So far - hands down - the best biography on Jack Kerouac. It has its supporters and its detractors which makes the book as it ages only more fascinating. With full number line. Fine bright beige red boards in like dust jacket with front cover photograph by Stanley Twardowicz. Back cover endorsements by the hall of fame Beats - William Burroughs, John Clellon Holmes, Seymour Krim, Michael McClure and Kerouac's own daughter Jan Kerouac. Just the lightest age tone on the fore edge. Very attractive copy. Payment by personal check is required, thank you.
