LONDON: COLLINS. Collins Thin Paper Pocket edition. Not dated. Probably 1920s(1928 is given only as an approximate date). Hard cover with dust jacket. DJ is a paper wrapper with a blue border and black titles. Slight wear on DJ edges. Titles on DJ spine are slightly faded. 2/6 price on DJ spine. The DJ is generally tanned from age, particularly noticeable on the DJ spine. H.G. Wells signature on front of DJ(probably a reproduction). Back of DJ features a list of other Wells novels. Illustrated endpapers and title pages by Garth Jones. Blue boards with gilt titles. Slight foxing on page edges. Otherwise clean, tight pages. Strong binding. No inscriptions. Location: NBK3 . Very Good. Hardcover. First Thus. 1928.
