About This Item

Old Hemlock, 1983. Limited Edition . Hardcover. Fine. Signed by Author(s). hardcoverOld Hemlock. 1983. First, Limited ed of 990, this being #58. SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY AUTHOR. George was one of the men who shot and wrote about it, luckily for us. He has chosen 26 such men and he will introduce each to us and then give them a chance to speak in their own words. I love a good anthology for the doors they open to other authors. The years covered by this august gathering spans from 1786 to date of publication, 200+ years. Get insights into authors you know, meet new ones, enjoy! This copy nicely inscribed to original owner Dec 1984. It later change hands and revisited Old Hemlock to be inscribed by Kay Evans, to a second owner, May 1998, George having left us in the interim. Fine+ (slight flacking of gilt on spine, else very fine) in Very Fine slipcase. If you like grouse, also look at That's Ruff! by George King. It is a superb book on grouse, grouse hunting and grouse hunters.
