(Memphis, TN: The author, 1945. First edition. Small 8vo. (21) pp. Illustrated from photographs, plates. Personal inscription, signed by the author, on the title page. Natural history of Lake Menasha, Stave Lake, and Mink Lake, lying just across the Mississippi River from Memphis; includes some waterfowl hunting and fishing, including a tale told in dialect by a local African-American guide. Biscotti, p. 355: "Description of St. Francis Valley Club on Lake Menasha, near Memphis, with some hunting." Not in Heller. OCLC locates three copies (Memphis Public, Tennessee State Library, Virginia). Original silver-stamped decorated textured green wrappers, stapled. Very good copy of a rare pamphlet.
