New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1935. This is a Very Good copy of the First American Edition [stated "First Published in English 1935"]. Translation is from the original Czech by M and R Weatherall. Blue cloth binding with titling in silver on the spine and front cover. Clean text; 256 pages; red topstain. Textblock is very bright and fresh. Spine has darkened to a gray colour but the titling remains bright. Covers have several light stains. Better than a Reading Copy, but not for the advanced collector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
