John Murray, 1924. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1924. Reprint. 406 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Contains black and white plates throughout. School prize binding with plate stuck to front free endpaper and decorative school emblem to front board. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Thumb-marking present. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Binding is slightly shaky, however all pages remain attached. Minor water marks to top text block edge. Text is unaffected. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Noticeable crushing to spine ends causing cloth to be frayed. Visible tanning to spine and edges. Water staining to boards. Bubbling to front board. White marks overall. Book has a slight forward lean.
