The author raises the issues of status of women, nature of marriage, political reform, religion hypocrisy, political reform and education etc. in the middle part of the 19th century in England. Rubbing of the book corners. The cloth covered boards are a little creased. A little marking to the back strip. Rubbing of the slip case and some fading at the edges of the entrance to the slip case.
