About This Item
First UK Edition/First Printing; A Near Fine book in a Fine dust jacket, with only light rubbing to the edges, a small ink mark to the front free paper (a marked out price), and a couple of tiny bumps and spots to the text block, else F/F. SIGNED and inscribed by the author (in spanish!) to the title page. A unique copy of this acclaimed novel, basis for the Redford film; the author provides a long inscription in Spanish and then signs. This is the Andre Deutsch publication, done after the first US edition, but using the Holt, Rinehart, and Winston boards. Not remaindered, not price clipped, not ex-library; in a protective Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
