Spine has been rebacked, reusing some of original cloth. Includes detached publisher's advert page following title page. Deckled edges. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Advert page detached but present. Rebinding is quite tight, cracked at the title page and rear hinge. Loss to the lower margin of page 337. Several small edge tears with slight loss. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened. A few liquid droplet marks to spine. Several minor dents and slight fraying to board edges.
