James Miller, New York, 1865. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Size: 6 1/4" x 4 1/8". Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Gilt-stamped brown cloth over boards, 141 pages plus 15 pages of ads, ads on end papers, illustrated with plates of buildings/views around NYC. Lacks the map, though unclear where the map was supposed to be if there was one. Title continues: "Comprising Notices of Every Object of Interest to Strangers; Including Public Buildings, Churches, Hotels, Places of Amusement, Literary Institutions, Etc."
