London: Hodder & Stoughton Limited, 1934 Frontispiece is signed by Olley "From the author with great respects and good wishes Gordon P. Olley Xmas 1934" with black pen. A rare signature. 8vo Light cloth stamped in black. Staining to front cover and several pages in from front. Numerous photo plates printed on slick paper. 230 pages. no jacket but tape edge stains apparently from jacket having been taped has offset onto cover and endpages. Portrait frontispiece is loose and has a stain in margin. Tightly bound. Laid in are four 1930s newspaper clippings about Olley. no jacket. Book is in just fair condition due to staining and moisture demage to front cover. .
